Hi there,
My Macintosh OS X operating system was reinstalled on the same hard disk. The vdi can no longer be found. Does anyone know in what folder to look for or what to do?
Thanks,
Thomas

Re: retrieving virtual disk after mac OS X reinstall
as fare i know MacOSX reinstalls:
Look for your latest Backup. in 99.9% there be a Format HDD to reinstall
Maybe you find some Sectors back after scanning the Harddisk
If not use the Filesearch for the vdi file

Sorry, but that did not work. Is it gone? What utility do I use for scanning my Macbook SnowLeopard?
Thanks a lot anyway.

Um, Guys.... This thread is irrelevant to any reader who does not use a Mac OSX host. We do have a Mac Hosts forum here, and ISTM that is where this thread belongs.
