NS_ERROR_CALL_FAILED (0x800706BE)

Hi
I am a long timer user of Vistualbox. I have Kubuntu Oneiric updated and I pulled VirtualBox from Oracle site (PUEL), plus the Extensions for the same release.
Everything was fine under VB 4.1.16.: 4 Xp machines, 2 W7 machines and one Ubuntu. I was a happy man until I upgraded to 4.1.18,
This relases refuses to launch my XP VM's, but launches my Ubuntu and W7 with no problems
For my 4 XP VM's I have the following message:
Where should I start digging to fix that?

Just like a finger snap, they don't launch at all. Niet, nada, nothing.Falha ao abrir uma sessão para a máquina virtual RUindows.
No error info.
