openSuSe+Windows7+realHDD

Post by VitAl2013 »

I have openSuSe as first OS. VirtualBox installed in SuSe. Real HDD sector connected to VirtualBox. Windows 7 installed through SuSe's VirtualBox on real HDD sector.
Problem: when I load Just Windows7 I got blue screen.
1st Idea: I appologise that because video drivers not good. But when I want boot Safe Mode, Windows ask me about full renew. I am worry about erase boot sector. Right now it's Grub.
How I can integrate right video drivers through VirtulBox? Can it emulate NVIDIA cards, maybe like a second video card that not in work, but setup will think that NVIDIA is here?
2nd idea: For VirtualBox Windows7's disk is C. But for real system it can be different.I think it's D for real Windows.
How I can setup disks in the system right?

Maybe some other ideas, why Windows7 can show blue screen after installation through VirtualBox?

You need to install guest additions, not look for device drivers. See chapter 4 of the user manual.

Raw disk access is taking a big risk, unless you consider yourself an expert. If your goal is to run the Win7 image in both physical and virtual modes then see the"Howtos" section for a tutorial.
