Fallback from VBox 4.1.6 to 4.0.8???

After the update from Vbox 4.0.8 to 4.1.6 I have trouble with the webcam via USB (see ticket https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/10039). I think it takes longer until I get a solution. So I will fall back to 4.0.8.
What I have to do, how does that work?

Hostsystem:
Win 7 Home Premium SP 1
Virtualbox V4.1.6
Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack 4.1.6 r 74713

Gastsystem:
Win XP Professional SP3

If you have not created a new guest in 4.1.6 you should be able to uninstall the 4.1.6 and then install the 4.0.8.
I would suggest that you backup to be safe. Also if you have the 4.1.6 guest additions in your guest/s you should revert them first to avoid any major conflicts, as well as the Extension Pack.
