Command-V Turns Screen Black

Post by pdame »

I have my left command (CMD) button as the hot key and so sometimes I make the mental error of using CMD-V to paste in Windows instead of CTRL-V. This, however, turns my entire window black as if changing display modes. It never recovers. The OS is still running in the background but I can get away from the all black screen. I can go in and out of full-screen mode but it stays black. I eventually have to shut down the guest OS (which is Windows 7).

I don't see hotkey-V mapped to anything in VirtualBox, what am I missing? How do I recover from this all-black display mode?

Thanks,
Phil
