vrdp performance

Post by xzyyy »

my local pc to my server has about 200ms ping, when i download files from my server, it can reach 1m/s, when i upload files to my server, it can reach 65k/s, but when i connect virtualbox vrdp service with win7 mstsc, even i choose minimum setting, it will be no-response frequently. for example, i open a ie in guest winxp, type google, then click images, videos, maps, and the rdp window is no-response.... it will take about half a minite before it backs, or i need close the rdp window and restart a rdp session. i don't know what the problem is, is there anyway to check the process to determine the problem?
thanks in advance.

I would use the VirtIO (paravirtualized) network drivers in the guest.
