Bonjour ,
D'avance, Merci.
ecran bleu Stop 0x0000007B

Re: ecran bleu Stop 0x0000007B
I don't really know much about Windows 7 guests, but in previous Windows versions "STOP 0x7B" was caused by the OS failing to find the correct driver to control the primary hard disk (maybe other disks too, e.g. maybe even the CD drive). In XP it's commonly seen when a working system is imaged and moved to the VirtualBox platform, caused because VirtualBox emulates a different IDE chipset than the original system. The same result may be seen if a VM is moved from other VM platforms (VMWare or VirtualPC) to VirtualBox, or the reverse.
You need to think back: have you recently mounted this Windows image in a new VM which might be using a different disk controller?
In XP the problem is fixed for IDE controllers by running the MergeIDE registry patch. In Windows 7 I didn't think it was necessary. Are you sure your guest is Win7?

Re: ecran bleu Stop 0x0000007B
Thank you for your answer.
Yes my physical OS is Linux RHEL, and my virtual machine is in Windows 7.
But when I start my Win7, I have a blue screen with Stop with 0X0007B.
If I lauch my windows 7 within virtual box, i have no message.
Grrrr.

You mean that you are running the same Win7 image both as a VM and native (directly on the host hardware)? So you must be using a physical (raw) partition on the host?Fxs wrote:But when I start my Win7, I have a blue screen with Stop with 0X0007B.

There we have it then. Win7 dislikes the fact that the VM and your physical hardware have different hard disk controller types.
You should check out the "Howto" forum on this site. In particular there's a discussion of running the same Win7 image both native and as a VM.
