Hello virtual box fans,
I can not access to USB from Virtual Windows XP or Windows 7.
Also I do not see the "maybe" mounted USB at the explorer.
Found the same problem on this link
http://www.fedorawiki.de/index.php/VirtualBox#USB
(sorry it is german)
But the solution is for Windows gents.
I am using the USB Device Filters -> Add the USB stick and click ok.
But in the explorer there isn't any USB stick mounted.
Typed in the shell of my host system (Mac os x Snow Leopard)
:shell$ VBoxManage list usbhost
USB stick is detected and the "Current State" is captured.
What can I do?? Do you have any link or help for me??
Best wishes

Re: Can not access to USB from Virtual Windows XP/Win7
Hey hey, solved the problem... maybe for all other who have the same problem.
Check the USB-Controller driver!!!
Go to the device manager and check if it is everything okay, otherwise you will see a yellow interrogation mark!
Windows XP includes the USB-Controller with the service 1 package. For myself it works.
But use the USB Filter from the virtual machine as well as!!
Best wishes and good night!
