Re: USB doesn't work
You need to fix this by enabling the host I/O cache in the storage section of the guest
Try setting the guests RAM to 2048 instead.
Is the Win7 guest 32 or 64 bit?
What is the actual version of Ubuntu?
Code: Select all

Re: USB doesn't work
hey, so i don't know what that the Ram has to do with the usb but i did (didn't work). anyways i added a blank filter, so now i can use my usb stick and the printer and the iPod,
however windows does not racognize my big 500GB extern harddrive as well as my 300GB extern harddrive,
so what should i do now ?
second question is, can i share i folder between ubuntu and windows, means when i put something in it i can use it from ubuntu and windows? somehow like dropbox ?

Re: USB doesn't work
Chapter 4.3 Shared folders in your VirtualBox users manual.
You might want to read Chapter 3.10.1 USB settings and in particular the part about setting filters on HDD.
