[SOLVED] USB access problem

Hi.
Cannot access USB thumb drives in Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium guest.
Drive is listed in the USB Devices list menu. Devices do not open when checked and passed to the VM though.
However, I can access the same thumb drives using a Windows XP guest.
Host OS is Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit, kernel 2.6.35-31-generic.
Patches for both host and guest are up to date.
Do I need special drivers?
Do I have to install something else in the guest?
Did I miss something during the configuration?

Make sure that you have installed the Extension Pack How to install Extension Pack
Also you must have your user name in the vboxusers group on the host (minimum of log off and on with permission changes)

Thanks for the guidance.
Corresponding extension pack installed as suggested.
User already in vboxusers group.
Still same behaviour. :(
The Device Manager in the guest shows 'This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

It works now.
After having installed the Extension Pack as suggested in a previous posting, enabling USB 2.0 support in the VM settings did the trick.
Settings > USB > Enable USB 2.0 (EHCI) Controller.
Thank you again for your help.
