Hello,

i have a problem from yesterday when i update vbox to the las version 4.1.6. i have win 7 64bit like host and win xp sp3 like guest. that beacause im Software developer and i need some tools incompatibles with win 7 x64.

the problem is my win 7 cant see the servers and other pc in the network; i can make ping and get response but when i try to access from windows dont work for sqlserver and file server. from win7(the host) i can see the server.

when i conect my laptop in other lan the win xp(guest) cant get ip using dhcp.

my network config:

Promiscuous Mode: Deny
Mac Address: generated automaticaly
cable conected

please help. i cant work ....

pd: sorry for my english.

On the Windows 7 Host, do you use the VirtualBox host-only network adapter for any guest?

If not try disabling it then reboot the host and see if the network returns to normal.
