Opensuse 2.1. vboxdrv setup ERROR

Hi
installed VB on Opensuse 12.1.
After start he ask me for execute "vboxdrv setup".
But i obtain this error:

DKMS is installed
in path specified tehere is not "build" directory:

You need to install the kernel-headers.

Hi! i had the same problem and i done installing kmv and kernel-source from yast i hope u getit!!

put this into the terminal


cat /var/log/vbox-install.log

rpm -K rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.*.rpm

rpm --import //apt.sw.be/RPM-GPG-KEY.dag.txt <- put h t t p : before the slashes (requires me to be a member for a day )

yum --enablerepo rpmforge install dkms

yum install htop

/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

reboot

Hi guys,

Did the above recommendation work for anyone? I still get the same error even after reinstalling required kernel-headers. I am running OpenSUSE 12.1 as host and Windows 7 as guest OS. Here's is what is in my /var/log/vbox-install.log file:

I am at wit's end here. Tried almost everything besides reinstalling the OS which I see no use for since every other application works fine except VB (which was working perfect until I upgraded the version).Please help

Figured out the problem after posting this. Downgraded my kernel version to 3.1.9. I'm off to find a cold drink now.
