converting a .vhd file to a .vdi file

Post by mick463 »

Hi i have virtual box running on snow leopard and i am trying to run server 2003 VHD files from microsoft i can run one VHD file but when i try to mount a second VHD file in to virtual box i get the error uuid not found ( See attachment). So i tried the VBoxManage convertdd server1.VHD Server1.VDI --format vdi. This seemed to work it created the vdi file. I then created a new machine and mounted my newly created vdi file but when i started the virtual machine up i got . Fatal error no bootable medium found. .
I am at a loss as to what i have done wrong could someone please help thank you.
