My host system is Mac 10.6; my guest system is XP, I use an Apple keyboard.
In the Preferences section on the Mac I can change the Command key to switch its function to the Control key. This allows me to use the outside key (the one labeled Control) on the Apple keyboard have all the functionality of the Control key on a PC keyboard. I prefer using the "outside" key rather than the "inside" key. It's probably because I was raised on a PC.
My problem is when I do that the Mac keyboard works as I want, but when I use the XP guest the Control key has no effect. If I undo the change on the Mac the Control key on the XP side returns to its normal function. Why is this and is there a way to use the Control key with full functionality on both the Mac and XP sides?
