In a 2-monitor configuration (host), moving VBox to monitor 2 and then entering Fullscreen / Seamless modes should position the virtual environment in the active monitor. Instead, VBox always positions the virtual environment in monitor #1.

HI,
I had seen that with windows as host. Under linux as host I never had problems like this.

Yes, i forgot to mention that. I'm under Win7SP1 Ultimate as a host. I wonder if it has been registered as an issue and will be fixed in a later version...

Guests always go to full screen and seamless on the primary monitor, unless told otherwise. To move the VM to another monitor, use the View menu in the mini-toolbar.

Ah, i see. Thanks for the info. I hadn't noticed that because i had disabled the mini-toolbar. Still, it seems more intuitive to put the full screen / seamless window on the same monitor where the normal window was before turning on full screen / seamless mode.

Hi,
there was a change in behavior between VB3 and VB4.
3 worked fine, with 4 and later I always had to move the VM to the right monitor. (Win XP as host and guest)

Well, it's not necessarily bad to have such an option, as long as by default it puts the full screen / seamless window on the same monitor where the normal window was before turning on full screen / seamless mode.

There was a reason they did it this way now, but I haven't looked into it. I'm sure they have a valid reason to do it.
