Webserver using Linux Guest

I've been battling with setting up a web server in VB to do some test development but I'm running into problems.

Using VB ver. 4.1.0 right now
Host Win 7 64bit
Guest is SuseLinux 11.4 with Apache

I have tried setting the network to both Bridged and Host only modes and in both cases the two machines can ping each other, but the Guest will not serve web pages to the Host. On the guest Apache appears to be running fine. I've looked through several tutorials and the manuals but cannot figure out where I've goofed.

Any help would be much appreciated.
