Windows 7 x64 missing

Hi,

I have a problem to install windows 7 x64 on VB. On my Pc is installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and when I create a new machine no x64 OS appears in the list. This is my PC: Asus A8N-SLI, Athlon 64 x2 4200+, ram DDR 3 Gb, Radeon x1950.

I must say that I had problems whit this PC and after a long job I could finally reinstall Windows Ultimate x64, lunching it from a portable OS (Win 7 start). Now the computer works and I can install Win 7 x32 in Virtual Box, but I do not find the x64 version in the OS list.

Search the vdi file from the guest. Then create a new guest and point to this file.

So, (in Italian) I went to machine, add then I have choosen the saved vdi file. This is the error message. But I cannot create a Windows x64 new machine as no x64 OS is in the list.

Error message:

As far as I am aware, your Athlon 64 CPU does not support hardware virtualisation (AMD-V or Intel VT-x) that is required to run 64-bit guest OSes. None of the Socket 939 CPUs support AMD-V (which yours is one) - I think you need at least a Socket AM2 chip (+board) to support it.

So while it means you can run a 64-bit host OS, you wont be able to run a 64-bit guest on that machine.
