Hello
I am running a windows 7 guest and i want to able to use 2500x1600 resolution. I notice that virtualbox has standard vga graphics adapter only allows me to use 1600x1200. Is there anyway to fix this or is there other virtual machine software that allows me to use my graphic card to the fullest?
Thanks in advance

Re: Virtualmachine with graphics
The short answer is no. Virtual machines do not see the graphics card in the host machine. They only see the emulated adapter which is not capable of that sort of thing.
Different virtualization systems use various techniques to enable 3D and large resolutions with various degress of success, but if you want to run large screen sizes or 3d graphics, my advice is to run it "on the metal", even if you have to dual boot.
