I have the Install DVD that came with my Mac Book Pro 10.6.8. I installed VirtualBox and I'm trying to install another instance of Snow Leopard 10.6.8 as a guest on my machine. When I mount the Install DVD iso, I get an error: "Fatal: no bootable medium found! System halted." I've also tried using iBoot, but no luck. Has anyone been able to install a Mac OS X guest on a Mac host? I'd think it would be pretty simple. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, you're missing something. Please read Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest. Only OSX Server is allowed to be virtualised.

Re: Mac OS X Guest
Actually VMWare began allowing Mac Os X (10.6 and 10.7) as guest, even the non-server version. Shall we hope to see it Virtualbox too?

Re: Mac OS X Guest
No, because Apple doesn't allow in in their EULA. It's in the link I noted.
