Windows xp guess format

Post by robvee »

Hi im new and barely setting up.
When xp begins to install in vbox it asks how I want the drive formatted.
Do i select NTFS?
if so, if I wanted to delete the xp in vbox does that part of my harddrive revert back to my mac?

You are creating a file so once you delete the file it is gone and the HD is left as it was.

In a virtual environment you are formatting a file that holds the guest OS & not really formatting the HDD of the host.
