Hi,
I'm using Virtualbox 4.1.6 74713 on a OS X 10.6.8 on Intel i7 hardware.
When I shut down a guest (FreeNAS 8.0.2 Release 64 bit) which network connection is 'bridged' to the host adapter the host network becomes unusable after the shut down finished.
I see an entry in OS X' Console:
VBoxFltDrv: was detached from 'en0' (0)
and then no connections can be made from the host to any network device.
As soon as I start the guest again the host network becomes usable again.
"As soon" means less than 0.1 seconds after pressing the 'start' button. The guest OS is not yet booted at that point.
How to fix this?
Best regards
Dave Webb
