hey i'm running a virtual pc with windows vista ultimate x64 and it work but when i open internet explorer i can go to a site but after 20sec internet explorer stops working. i have search the forum and Google but i don't find anything that helps. i don't get any error in the virtual box log files.

here's my setup:
Host: Windows 7 ultimate x64 SP1, Vbox 4.1.4, Bridged LAN;
Intel core i7 3,40GHz
ram: 16 GB
Guest Windows vista ultimate x64 SP2 + 4.1.4 Guest Additions”.
Over 320GB Storage
8.1GB RAM
2 Processors (Out of available 16)
Display men: 256MB (Max I can allow it)
Guest additions were installed with Direct3D

If you installed the guest additions (in safe mode) and installed the D3D instead of the WDDM drivers, this could be your issue.Guest additions were installed with Direct3D

Inside Internet Explorer you could disable GPU rendering. That might help.

Thanks so much. I had done D3d in safe mode. Despite undoing it, IE still crashed... software rendering fixed it.
