Critical error

Post by brajakke »

Hi,
I used notebook in WinXP, and suddenly WinXP freezes. I am not able to boot Windowns since I get message that I should upload log and image-file to this site ( I can click ignore, but then I enter Guru Meditation)

Could someone please help me out?

The LOG-file can be downloaded here (to large to be uploaded...fix that VM) : http://www.danaksel.no/vm/VBox.log

Code: Select all

00:00:00.535 Host RAM: 4096MB RAM, available: 466MB
I would free up some memory and see if it boots.

Hi everyone !

I also have a guru meditation fatal error when booting WinXp on a WinXP host. (The vm just has one .vdi disk containing windows XP)
I can see the NT bootloader screen (when you can choose between normal and safe mode) and the it freezes.

I have tried helplessly to modify the memory parameters of the vm, with no result.

Could someone know how to solve this ??

p.s. the log file is attached

Ok... this is embarrassing, but I just restarted OS X, and everything worked like a charm.
