OS problem
So i took a iso version of my windows xp home edition and i used that instead of a Host Disk drive. So i was installing the OS and it said it was going to reboot, it did, but it restarted the installation again. Any ideas why?

Re: OS problem
Yes, because the cd is in the drive. Change boot order to "harddisc, cd" in the vbox guest settings. Then the fresh installed os starts first.

Re: OS problem
The same thing happens on a physical machine if you leave the disk in the drive and it is set to boot from the CD/DVD.
