I just thought i try out a VM and im having a little trouble. :/

When I start my VM, I get an error stating that no boot medium was found. How do I solve this?

What OS are you trying to install as the guest?
Start by reading the manual

A virtual machine is just like a physical one. It can't do much until you install an operating system. What OS do you plan to use? Do you have the install media? Is it a physical CD/DVD?

Now that i read more about this and youtube some of it.

Im currently downloading a Windows 7 ultimate (32-bit) os.

So what im understanding I need to have say my OS on my desktop(or in any place) and when i first start up my VC i should make it where it loads the OS and not say like Host Disk D:

Also if thats true to my question above, do i have to find a torrent of say Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit for it to work?

You can go to Microsoft and download a trial version or you can go out an buy a legal copy.
