Changing the Vbox screen size in Mac OSX

Post by bonehead »

Equipment Spec: iMac 27", 2.66 i5, 8gb ram, OS 10.6.8. Virtualbox version 4.1.4

I have successfully installed Vbox with OSX 10.5 so I can use Quark 7.5 & Adobe CS2 progs which stopped working under Snow Leopard. They now work fine and Vbox has provided an excellent solution.

The only problem is changing the screen size. I have tried the com.apple.boot.plist solution but without success. There are other suggestions but not being a programmer I am reluctant to start "Terminal" solutions without a hand holding, line by line solution.

Can anyone help?

I'm sure you'll find the answer somewhere around here: viewforum.php?f=22

Other than that, there is also this: Important notice regarding Mac OS X as Guest. That notes that you can only run Server in a VM. You're using the Desktop edition. Not allowed.
