VirtualBox on x64 CPU with no VT-x

VirtualBox on x64 CPU with no VT-x

Hi,
My CPU doesn't support Hardware Virtualization (VT-x) but I still can use VirtualBox and run x32bit Virtual Machines! how is that oissible?!
The reason I am asking about this is just to understand why VB (and VMware too) does that.

Read the Forum FAQ for 64bit Guest issues and requirements. Also read the part which explains what other VBox functions need vt-x
