Hey,
I got this problem with two Windows XP SP3 VM's. I cant get them ping each other. They both are in internal network. I set them a static ip's.
XP VM 1 = 192.168.0.2
XP VM 2 = 192.168.0.3
Netmask
When I tried to ping one from another and via versa., I got this "Request timed out" message.
I tried to ping both's localhost 127.0.0.1 and they ping'ed successfully and I tried to ping themselves and again successfully.
Then I stopped and disabled firewalls of both machines. And still no luck.
Host Machine is Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit.
Best regards,
Oliver
