guest disappears when running seamless (not window bug)

I have a windows7 guest running under Ubuntu 10.10 with compiz enabled. I'm having a problem when switching to seamless mode, everything on the guest disappears. The open windows, the taskbar and the seamless toolbar. If I disable compiz, it works as normal. I don't think this is the same thing as the window bug as I have several windows open on my guest when switching to seamless, and everything still disappears. I am running a laptop with only the laptop display, so It's not a multi-monitor issue either.

Any ideas?
