Determine which version installed

Post by makitso »

After installing VB on a host, is there some way to see what specific version / host the install was for? For example, it would say either of the following?
Ubuntu 11.10 ("Oneiric Ocelot") i386 | AMD64
or
Ubuntu 11.04 ("Natty Narwhal") i386 | AMD64

And where did you get it from? Downloaded manually, or set up the repository to install it through your package manager?
