Question on Mac Lion and XP

Just got a new iMac and want to run Windows so I can run PS CS5. I investigated using BootCamp on Mac but it won't run XP which is the only copy I have. So my question is can I run Virtualbox on my iMac OS 10.7n Lion and run Windows XP"? Any and all tips would be gratefully appreciated.

Bootcamp will indeed run Windows XP. I've done it.
But, VirtualBox runs WinXP fine.

Boot Camp will only run XP on the older Macs, I believe the 2010 MacBook Airs were the first Macs to be Windows 7 only, though it may be older. If you've just got a new Mac, I'm guessing it's a 2011 iMac, so you'll have to use Virtualbox etc.

You are of course correct! My apologies, I mis-stated: I was using Boot Camp as a verb instead of a proper noun, sorry.
Regarding this, what I've found is XP installation is mostly restricted by the lack of Apple XP drivers for the newer Apple hardware.

This is neither the time nor the place, but briefly, I have partitioned the internal HDD of one of my Macs, using Disk Utility, into four partitions and installed WinXP onto one of those partitions.
