Virtual Server Via NAT and Port forwarding

Hello, I am trying to set up virtual servers on my Apache server because I can currently only have one domain name. I am new to Virtual Servers and am looking for a online setup guide but I've yet to find one that explains it up to date or very well. Of course I wish to use Vitualbox and I am seeing if I can avoid a bridge so I don't have to purchase another IP on my connection it costs $10 per static and I wish to avoid these costs. I normally run my servers on OpenSuSe but I use Ubuntu for everything else and I am planing on Ubuntu Desktop as a host and Ubuntu Server as my VS's. So port forwarding and stuff that that would be the way to go unless my understanding of it is off. So my questions are...
Does anyone know of a guide like that?
Will port forwarding allow me run multiple domains on 1 ip?
Thank You to anyone who responds.
