Hi there Guys,
Im new to Virtualbox, I recently installed it on my mac with windows XP guest, so I can play some of my favourite old games
but I wanted to use my xbox controller wireless reciever for windows to play some of them. But i'm not entirely sure how to get it working. I lost my driver discs so wanted to try and find the drivers through the device installation wizard in windows XP. However when I plug it in and try to select it under the USB devices icon, i get this error…
Failed to attach the USB device ©Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows [0100] to the virtual machine Windows XP.
USB device '©Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows' with UUID {390636dd-089e-46a5-a968-dd272b8a86a7} is in use by someone else.
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: HostUSBDevice
Interface: IHostUSBDevice {173b4b44-d268-4334-a00d-b6521c9a740a}
Callee: IConsole {1968b7d3-e3bf-4ceb-99e0-cb7c913317bb}
Could anyone give me a hand on stopping it being used by "someone else"?
Thanks
