1 Guest OS in 2 systems

Post by vbvip »

Hi,
I'm dual boot 2 Linux systems.
I wanna use win 7 in virtualbox.
Is it possible that the same guest OS (win 7) can be used in both Linux systems.
What should I do?
Thanks.

Also, if I have antivirus in host system, can it scan and eliminate virus in guest OS?

Yes easily I do it even with a windows Host. Only setup VB in both linux Systems the same, mount the partition so you can see the VM and run it.
Works without Problems for me. Only be aware to have the same VB version in both Systems.

NO
