Dettached a snapshot file: Now system won't boot

Post by [ Xi0N ] »

I just get a fatal error: System cannot bot.. because i detached a wrong snapshot file from a VM....
First thought that comes to mind is that i just did a backup of all the VM folder... im thinking about restoring the whole thing... but, do i have to edit anything from the VirtualBox.xml file as well?
This all comes because of the error when deleting snapshots that says that the snapshot cannot be deleted because the machine has multiple child disks, and in the virtual manager i saw one of the snapshot files was not attached to any machine (at least that is what i read)... but after dettaching the file... i get this pretty crash....
Any suggestions?
