Shared Folders showing as disconnect network drives in Win 7

Hello all,
I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed the following issues and if there is any kind of resolution:
Running VirtualBox 4.1.4 r74291 on Ubuntu 11.04 (natty) host.
Running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 guest.
I have several Machine Folders setup as Shared folders in the settings for the virtual machine. They are all set to Auto Mount.
When I view the drives in the Win7 guest they all display and appear to function correctly.
However, (this is the issue I am experiencing) when I attempt to access the folders through a WPF application my company is developing those drives appear as "Disconnected Network Drives".
On the other hand, a network folder that I manually mapped appears to be connected (that is the drive labeled: H drive (\\devdt7-phx1) (S:)). Either way, they all work. I can browse to the files through our application in the Disconnected Network drives E, F, G, H and I but the drives always display as "Disconnected".
Anyone have any thoughts on this?
