Is it possible to change the CPU type that VB reports to the guest?
For instance, if the host is a QC Xeon, the guest sees the same CPU type. It would be nice if one could select a different type, say core2duo.
I know that KVM has this ability.

Re: CPU Type in Guest
VirtualBox does not emulate a CPU. It uses the actual CPU in the host (which is MUCH faster). You will have to use a different product to use an emulated CPU.
