Resizing a VM and disk is corrupt
I ran the command to resize a dynamically sized VHD file and now when I try to boot the VM I get "FATAL: no bootable medium found! system halted". This VM was working fine before the resize. My host and guest are both Win2k8 R2. Please help!!

Re: Resizing a VM and disk is corrupt
Resizing a disk no matter how you do it is always a risky thing. Sometimes things just go wrong. Hopefully you made a backup before you tried this and can restore from that.
Also it should be noted if the guest had snapshots.

Re: Resizing a VM and disk is corrupt
I did not make a backup. Years of working with VMWare I guess made me lazy.
The image at one point had snapshots but I merged them all together a long time ago.
