Win7 64 bits and Win XP 32 bits

Win7 64 bits and Win XP 32 bits

Hi :

I'm using virtual box for the first time and when I try to turn on my guest OS wich is a Win XP 32 bits , I receive the following message:

FATAL: Could not read from the boot medium ! System halted

Any toughts abaout this? BTW my host OS is a Win 7 64 bits.

Please help me guys !!!

The system is trying to install Win XP but cannot find the installation media. Where is your Windows XP install media? Is it a CD or do you have it on an ISO file? Or did you think it would magically appear?

Thanks Bill for the explanation, so I do need a XP installation CD for this operation, I ll try to find one and try run VM again .
