I returned to 4.1.0, after I could not get my Windows 7 guest to work. On each guest start, the host crashes with the gray dialog. I posted a bug report (http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/9463), but no one at Oracle seems to look at new bug reports.

Has anybody successfully used VirtualBox 4.1.2 on an OS-X (10.6.8 on Core i7) with Windows 7 guests (32 bit)? Has anyone had similar problems and found a solution?

Here's the same problem. XP works fine on 4.1.2 but not Windows 7 which crashes my Mac. Reverted VB to 4.0.12 and it works well again.
I have a similar hardware configuration as you do: iMac i7 on 10.6.8 with 32 bit Windows 7.
