I have been running an earlier version of VB (4.0.12) and Win98SE worked fine there, but I have just upgraded to 4.1.2 and now it will only run in Safe mode?
Is there a quick fix for this please? Win311, ME and 2000 are all behaving correctly and I have done nothing except reinstall VB.
Win98SE will only run in Safe mode under VB 4.1.2 !

Compare the guest settings between running guests and this one.

Re: Win98SE will only run in Safe mode under VB 4.1.2 !
Host Windows 7 Ultimate, Guest Windows 98SE:
After a lot of fiddling around I have found the problem - if I uncheck "Enable Network Adapter" that is attached to Host-only Adapter (VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter) then everything works! So presumably something has been changed in VB 4.1.2 that is affecting this, since it worked perfectly in VB 4.0.12.
As I said originally, all my other VMs, Win3.11, WinME, Windows2000, Win7, all have this adapter box checked and are working fine.
