Python 2.7 binding to VB API

I am working on a project that calls VB Python API on OS X. Since the Lion upgrade, the default OS X Python version has been 2.7, but latest VB only has binding for Python 2.5 and 2.6.

I would appreciate if anyone can tell me if VirtualBox will include Python 2.7 binding soon (VBoxPython2_7.so), or help me figure out how to compile the binding.

Thanks!

Keven

What version of VirtualBox are you using?

Change log 15.5 Version 4.0.10 (2011-06-22)
• Linux hosts: fixed Python 2.7 bindings in the universal Linux binaries
I am not all that sure about the MAC version but I would think it would be supported.
You would need to actually ask the DEVs for a definitive answer though.
