Guest: WinXPProSP3
(Sorry, I'm a newbie) After HD crash I fortunately had copies of my 3 guests After rebuilding the host I cloned the "name.vdi" files - 2 of them work perfect the 3rd one offers to start in normal, secure... mode - in every mode the machine stops after some seconds with a stillstanding cursor
Unfortunately this 3rd guest has a sophisticated sturcture - no chance to rebuild it - I need THIS to work with...
Any idea to rescue this guest?

Are you sure you set the VBox settings for the VM the same as it was before? sounds like a IO APIC issue.

To be honest: I don't remember the settings and don't know what IOApic is good for...
