How i can to locate the shared folder on linux

Hello friends, i'm using windows xp with sp3 as host and with virtualbox with ubunto inside.
i create a folder in windows called 'shared' for sharing files between windows and ubuntu (sorry by poor english), and how i can locate the folder 'shared' on ubuntu. On windows it's very easy
'\program files\oracle\virtualbox\shared\' but on ubuntu i'm a little lost.

First of all, on Windows Guests, they will be in \\vboxsrv, located under Network > VirtualBox Shared Folder. Not in Program Files. And you can map them to drive letters if you wish.

Linux has them in /media/sf_<name>, where <name> is the name you gave the shared folder. This is when you have auto-mount enabled. Else you have to use my guide to manually mount them.

This is all described to the letter in the User Manual.
