Problem with Ansys Workbench XP-64

Post by Andre90 »

Hy guys!

I have installed a MS Windows XP 64 guest os, and I have installed Ansys 12.1 x64 on it. The problem is, when I try to draw a sketch in design modeller, the program doesn't sart to draw the lines (or circle centers) where the cursor points, it draws it a little bit away. That's why I can't use my program at all :S
Is there any solution for this?
Than you for your help in advance.

That is a pretty complex program to try to run in a vm. Won't it install directly in Win 7?

I want to run two instances, that's why I would like to use a virtual machine. The problem is the graphics, in the program some of the text doesn't appear, and the cursor doesn't work well, it's positioning is wrong.

Virtual machines are not really suited to running games or graphics programs. The emulated graphics card in a vm is not capable of handling the load and the workarounds are not 100% reliable.
