Mouse constantly turns left no matter which direction I move

So, I'm having a TERRIBLY unique event of occurrence.
I'm running vindictus in VirtualBox Host OS = Windows 7 X64 with amd athlon II x4 640, 6 gigs of ddr3 1366 ram, an ATI HD4870 graphics card, and guest OS = Windows XP 32 bit.
Vindictus plays JUST fine, literally the best performance I've EVER gotten in ANY virtual environment (sexy freaking program you have here.)
However, when I run the game, which requires directx the mouse ONLY moves to the left whether I move my physical mouse left, right, up, or down.
However, when I hold ALT in game, to "release" the mouse into "free mode" and right click, which enables moving the camera it works just fine (just a LOT slower than normal tracking method for the camera.
I have tried enabling, and disabling Mouse integration, and pretty much EVERYTHING else that i can think of including the sensitivity settings in both the Guest OS, and the game.
Can anyone help me out with this?!?
Thanks for your time, and I hope I was thorough enough in my explanation since I know not everyone plays this game.
