Guest Additions and X11

Post by glob157 »

Hi guys ;

Im wondering wether there is a relationship between the ability to run X11 graphics, and the "Guest Additions". Im having an error with an XView application, saying it "cant open connection to server".... This is occuring in the latest fedora, running on os x virtualbox 4.04

The guest additions included vga and seamless mouse driver for X11.

But have you checked a fedora forum? This must not be a vbox problem.

Do you know what Xview is? If you don't know, you don't know why you get the message. As Stefan said, it's not a VB thing.
