Hello,
i have a strange problem on Win 2k guests:
i have two guests both with 20 MB display mem and 1920x1280 res,
both having guest additions installed.
One can be set to 16bit color, but the other only allows 8bit colors,
Is there a setting to allow 24 or 32 bit colors?
Do i need more display mem (i think even 10 MB should be sufficient)
Thanks for help, regard
Carsten

Re: VB 3.1.8 Win 2k Guest graphic problem
Are the current Guest Additions installed in both guests?

Yes both have guest additions 3.1.8Frank Mehnert wrote:Are the current Guest Additions installed in both guests?
Meanwhile i could solve it:
First i switched to a 32bit true color resolution (1600x1200 was possible on my guest)
then switched from seamless to window and back to seamless (2 times hotkey-F)
and voila 1980x1200 wth 32bit true color is available again.
Strange but working.
