I got an old laptop that got XP , only using AC97 where i used to record my audio output (Stereo Mix) through all sorts of programs even the native windows recorder.
Now im trying to accomplish the very same in my VM seeing that it too has AC97 .
But it seems it will not work in there because it seems the AC97 emulation is limited. Not a software issue but a "hardware" issue...
I would love to see this working so i could use my VM for other things that running old games and such...
