Cannot create Windows Briefcase on Shared Virtual Folder

Post by pws442 »

I cannot create a Windows Briefcase on Shared Virtual Folder

I suppose, you just can't, but I would like to create a Windows (7,XP, nothing works) briefcase in the Virtual Shared Folder, which I persistently mount as t:. The context menu, containing the briefcase icon, allows me to create the briefcase, but alas, it is regular folder as soon as it appears. (Note that I can update and sync a Briefcase residing on my JumpDrive, in the once-in-a-blue-moon that it is actually recognized!)

I suppose asking the VM, with the .12 extensions installed, to do actually create a briefcase, is just too much, no?

Thanks for your comments.
